Reset & Start Over one project at a time.

First Project: 29 CFR 1910.147(c)(2)(iii) January 2, 1990 required proper
electrical 'isolation device' installed before any service/maintenance may
be started by any Authorized Employee.

Second Project: 29 CFR 1910.147(c)(6) required Periodic Inspection at by
Authorized Inspector at least annually for the Control of Hazardous Energy
Sources (Lockout/Tagout) before Authorized Employee starts service and
maintenance machine-specific repair procedures.

Third Project: UL325 March of 2000 required manufacturer's 'secondary
entrapment' devices to guard entrapment zones on CLASS I & II slide gates
where public is expected to STOP-REVERSE the gate a short distance to
RELEASE an entrapped person.

Forth Project: ASTM F2200 required minimum gate safety construction for
'Automated Vehicular Gate' systems, roller covers, pinch points, gaps
over 2.25-inches and less than 16-inches, ect.

Fifth Project: 29 CFR 1910.147(c)(4)(i)(Note:) Exception:, Contractor's
Lockout Procedure meeting all 8-elements required for a lockout condition
before Authorized Employee may start service, maintenance, or repairs.

Sixth Project: Gate-Tek.com's UL325 and ASTM F2200 Audit and Certification
for Property Owner/Employer's minimum safety code compliance.

All of the above is less than worthless if the 'First Project' does not
have local Enforcing Agency and Code Official enforcement of Michigam
Part 8 Electrical Code 80.9.1 (b) Existing installations.

"80.9.1 Application... (b) Existing installations. Electrical systems lawfully
in existence at the time of the adoption of this code shall be permitted to
have their use and maintenance continued if the use, maintenance, or repair
is in accordance with the original design and no hazard to life, health, or
property is created by this electrical system as determined by the code
official."
